بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

  1. 1 وَٱلتِّینِ وَٱلزَّیۡتُونِ

    Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem Wat-tini Walzaytooni

    By the Fig and the Olive,

  2. 2 وَطُورِ سِینِینَ

    Vatūri Sehninen

    And the Mount of Sinai,

  3. 3 وَهَـٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِینِ

    vahadha Al-baledi Al-ameen

    And this City of security,-

  4. 4 لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ فِیۤ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِیمࣲ

    Lakad khalaqna Al-insan Ahsani taqweem

    We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,

  5. 5 ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَـٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَـٰفِلِینَ

    thumma radadnaahu asfal safileena

    Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-

  6. 6 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَیۡرُ مَمۡنُونࣲ

    illa Alladheena amenua wa amiloo As-sālihāti falahum ajr ghair mamnūn

    Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

  7. 7 فَمَا یُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّینِ

    fama yoo-ka-dhthib-oo-ka ba'doo Beldin

    Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?

  8. 8 أَلَیۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَـٰكِمِینَ

    alaysa Allah be-ahkami Al-Hakimeen

    Is not Allah the wisest of judges?
