بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

  1. 1 ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

    Al-Qāriʿah

    The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:

  2. 2 مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

    ma Al-Qāriʿah

    What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?

  3. 3 وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ

    adraka ma Al-Qāriʿah

    And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?

  4. 4 یَوۡمَ یَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ

    yaum yakoonu An-nas kal-fa-rash Al-mabthoothi

    (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,

  5. 5 وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ

    wa takoonu Al-jibaalu kal-ih-nee Al-Menfushi

    And the mountains will be like carded wool.

  6. 6 فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَ ٰ⁠زِینُهُۥ

    fa-amma man thakulat mava faith Zeinuhu

    Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,

  7. 7 فَهُوَ فِی عِیشَةࣲ رَّاضِیَةࣲ

    fahuwa fay eeshatin Raziya

    Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.

  8. 8 وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَ ٰ⁠زِینُهُۥ

    wa amma Khafat mava faith Zeinuhu

    But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-

  9. 9 فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِیَةࣱ

    Faumuhu Hawiyah

    Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.

  10. 10 وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِیَهۡ

    adraka ma Heyah

    And what will explain to thee what this is?

  11. 11 نَارٌ حَامِیَةُۢ

    nar Hamiyah

    (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!
