بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

  1. 1 أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَیۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلۡفِیلِ

    Alam Tara kayfa fala Rabbuka beas-habi Al feel

    Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?

  2. 2 أَلَمۡ یَجۡعَلۡ كَیۡدَهُمۡ فِی تَضۡلِیلࣲ

    Alam yaj'al kaydahum fay tazleel

    Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?

  3. 3 وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ طَیۡرًا أَبَابِیلَ

    wa arsala alayhim tayran Ababeel

    And He sent against them Flights of Birds,

  4. 4 تَرۡمِیهِم بِحِجَارَةࣲ مِّن سِجِّیلࣲ

    Termeehim behijarah min Sajjeel

    Striking them with stones of baked clay.

  5. 5 فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفࣲ مَّأۡكُولِۭ

    faja'alahum kasf ma'kool

    Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
