بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

  1. 1 أَرَءَیۡتَ ٱلَّذِی یُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّینِ

    Araita al-ladhee yukazzibu Beldin

    Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?

  2. 2 فَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلَّذِی یَدُعُّ ٱلۡیَتِیمَ

    faza faith leka al-ladhee yadoo al-yateema

    Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),

  3. 3 وَلَا یَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِینِ

    yahuthth Ala taami Al-Miskeen

    And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.

  4. 4 فَوَیۡلࣱ لِّلۡمُصَلِّینَ

    fawail Lil-musalleena

    So woe to the worshippers

  5. 5 ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ

    Alladheena hum an salaatihim sahoon

    Who are neglectful of their prayers,

  6. 6 ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ یُرَاۤءُونَ

    Alladheena hum yuraa'una

    Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),

  7. 7 وَیَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ

    vayamna'oon Al-Ma'un

    But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
